nothing is as it has been, and i miss your face like hell, and i guess it’s just as well, but i miss your face like hell
i’ve been on a bit of folky kick lately and this one from the head and the heart has been one of my repeaters. this band comes from seattle, washington and have slowly been gaining momentum in popularity by opening for the likes of dave matthews, the decemberists, and death cab for cutie. what i love about the head and the heart is their focus on vocal harmony whilst keeping it simple with acoustic guitars, piano riffs and light percussion. their entire self titled debut album is killer and i highly recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of the folk music genre.
