wednesday night i was able to catch avicii at radio city music hall and though it was a bizarre place for him to play (venues where there are seats instead of a massive hall where people can really enjoy the music is just not how techno was intended to be played at) he did put on a quality show. between the massive head he plays on top of, the lights, and the actual set there were some high points. one of those highlights was when he played this new release from otto knows. though there are limited songs out there by this great swedish dj, the tracks that he has released have been massive and this remix to the burn song “lies” falls right into that category. otto will be playing with sebastian ingross and alesso during halloween weekend in nyc for the all mixed up concert, i highly suggest you do whatever it takes to get into this concert, its gonna be bananas.
