the 1975. they’re a kick-ass newcomer band out of manchester that completely blew me out of the water. in the first few moments of this track i was hooked. they have that brooding rock sound much like the kooks or kings of leon. their debut ep, facedown, will touch down on 6 august and it’s centered around this single - good choice. until then - play the city…on repeat.
