and i knew there would come a day when all was said and done, everything i loved, was everything but gone…

so the boys of fun released their sophomore album some nights today and since they were nice enough to put out the whole album last week on their soundcould i have had a chance to go through it a few times and get a good feel for it. let me first say that i love fun, they put out upbeat catchy songs that instantly hook their listeners and get everyone is a hand clapping/foot stomping mood. unfortunately on this album they tweak the one thing that makes this band better than all the other out there - nate ruess voice. nate’s voice is just the tits, no way around it and for some reason they decided to use alot more autotune on this album, which nate does not need. because of this my favorite song has to be the bonus track “out on the town” in which there is no autotune and sounds like the fun from their first album. maybe im being too harsh but from what i heard early on i was hoping for alitte more.
