who’s that white chick holding it down on stage and in the stu with the likes of snoop dogg, luda, and zion i?…k. flay.  a.k.a. kristine flaherty from chi town by way of stanford u with a whopping double soc(sh) / psych degree.  i. did not. see this one. coming.  first of all, she handles quite a bit of her own production - so that naaaasty beat you hear…that’s all her (as far as i can find online).  now that that is settled, let’s move on to her flow…woah. her bio says she’s influenced by the styles of powerful, independent female artsits like lauryn hill and fiona apple - the girl definitely possesses qualities of both…she rhymes like lauryn and missy, but rages like fiona.
