xaphoon jones - you know the name. he’s the beat behind chiddy bang. indie tracks are fun, but sometimes they get over played or lose their shine after a few listens and that’s when it’s refreshing to have a sunny xaphoon jones remix to pop in. st. lucia is a chill little indie rock band and ‘we got it wrong’ is an awesome track, but xp gave it a new pair of pimp pants and laced up some new kicks and now this track is walking with some confidence. the added handclaps give it a nice steady rhythm and the synths both thumping in the foreground and dancing in the background really make this a fun listen.
check it. it picks up and breaks down at a couple different points - so stay focused.
