i had the chance to catch doug appling (aka emancipator) last week when he came to NYC and was completely blown away by his performance. having listened to only a handful of his songs prior the show, i had no idea what to expect when seeing him in concert. for almost an hour and a half emancipator laid it down. by combining super chill beats, random vocals and a live violin player this was an unbelievable show.
starting with this show until after the superbowl my life had been nonstop and i am pretty sure work is going to be miserable today, needless to say emancipator will be on all day keeping me in the zone.
