fresh out of the elm & oak oven: cherub’s debut album, man of the hour. i haven’t heard anything this funky since chromeo’s last album…and i diiiiig chromeo. i have to hand it to jordan and jason, they teamed up to create some seriously fresh shiaaaat. they rock the really high pitched vocals with dreamy synths, a bad ass guitar…some dancing piano and to top it all off…a few crashing drops. it’s a really fun album and a highly recommended listen. it’s exactly what i needed to get me through the rest of the week.
